R&B singer Keyshia Cole took to Twitter to vent frustrations about the just-released track, an aggressive meditation on why Beyonce is queen.
She writes:

“Can’t stand when people all self righteous when it’s convenient it makes them look good. Lmao! But can still talk sh*t when convenient 2,”

While Beyoncé’s last record “4″ featured female empowerment hits like “Run The World,” the new track is bold in the hierarchy it establishes: Beyoncé and everyone else. “First ‘Women need to Stick together’ now bitches better Bow. [Shaking my head],” Keyshia Cole said.

It’s Beyoncé like you’ve never heard her before. The singer, famous for her sexy but All-American image, is causing quite a stir with her new song. It’s called “Bow Down“, and it features some very edgy lyrics: “I know when you were little girls, you dreamt of being in my world. Don’t forget it. Don’t forget it. Respect that. Bow down bitches.

That’s right, “bow down bitches.” The 31-year-old singer released a 3:34 clip of the song on her Tumblr page. She posted it with a photo of herself as an innocent little kid—quite a contrast to those lyrics. What do you think of the new song?

Although singer Miguel’s “Adorn” record was one of the biggest R&B songs on the radio last year, there are still a lot of people who don’t know who he is just yet, so his performance with Wiz Khalifa at the Grammys was a nice little introduction for a few folks out there.

Kelly Clarkson, was impressed and gave him a shout out while accepting her award for Best Pop Vocal album. She said,

“Miguel, I don’t know who the hell you are, but we need to sing together. I mean, good God. That was the sexiest damn thing I’ve ever seen.”

Wale, who worked with Miguel on “Lotus Flower Bomb,” told MTV after the show:

“I didn’t like the Kelly Clarkson back-handed comments to Miguel. I didn’t like that at all. I just feel like our urban music is belittled, a little bit. Not trying to offend nobody on the committee, but for a record as big as ‘Adorn,’ and it to not be presented as a real performance onstage; it was almost like a segue to an award. Again, I don’t want to offend anybody on the committee, but that wasn’t a very good representation of our music because ‘Adorn’ is gonna be around for the next 30 years.”

Meanwhile, Miguel didn’t seem to take offense. He met up with her backstage and posed for a pic that she posted on her Instagram with the caption, “Miguel!”

Last night, Terrence Davidson, the man behind Nicki Minaj’s wig selection for the last three years announced that he has parted ways with the star after a few “creative differences”. This is sort of a big deal being that Nicki Minaj’s hair has become a huge part of her brand and the last thing she needs right now is to have to look for someone new in the midst of her hectic American Idol schedule.

Her hairstylist wrote in a statement:

“I would like to inform the media and supporters that I’ve decided to step away as hair stylist and wig creator for Nicki Minaj. It has been an amazing experience offering me a chance to express my creativity and exhibit my love for the art form of wig design. I have decided to part ways from Nicki Minaj because I would like to explore other opportunities within my own brand and re-energize my creativity through work in fashion editorial, beauty consultations, media personality, ‘how-to’ lectures and hair show development. I am very proud of the body of work built with Nicki Minaj and I appreciate the support over the years from fans who’ve expressed love for my craft. Look forward to seeing me larger than life in 2013”

Sticking to the usual Kesha party-trash genre, the video sees the 25-year-old having a wild time with friends dressed up in animal costumes after quitting work at an american dinner.

Speaking of her new album “Warrior” which ‘C’mon‘ features on, Ke$ha told Digital Spy:

Like I could make a music video for every single song on the album, which is good for me as I am very visual when I’m writing a song.”

The Dr. Luke produced track ‘C’mon‘ will be the follow up release to ‘Die Young‘ which was pulled from US radio stations due the Newtown masacre that took place in December.
