Apple released the brand new ultra thin Macbook Air at Macworld 2008 yesterday and people are quite excited. Techies from all over have embraced the new notebook as the best one on the market, but is it really all its cracked up to be? We think not. Before you dish out your $1800 think twice.

  • No Removable Battery
  • No Built in CD/DVD Drive
  • Can’t Upgrade Harddrive
  • Only One USB Port
  • Only a 13.3 inch Monitor

Oh, puh-lease. The whole point of Macbook Air is that it has been stripped down to a minimum, hence the litheness. You can’t have the cake and eat it. Air is for those who want max. ease of portability, Pro is for those who don’t mind a little extra weight in exchange for awesome features.

Sandra-
The price should reflect that then. We still don’t like it.
