So the 2008 VMA’s were last night and despite us being somewhat disappointed we did have a few highlights. Yea enough, not to the good stuff.

Britney Spears - The woman of the night. Excuse our French but she looked A-Fucking-Mazing. We swear we were gleaming into the Britney circa 2001. Way to come back Brit and win your first ever moonman and two others.

Rihanna - We loved Rihanna opening the show with ‘Disturbia’ everything was utterly amazing. Her styling, her hair, the dancers, the choreography, the lighting, the props… ahhh. Oh except for one thing, her vocals. Ouch. Ehh, oh well she looked amazing in both her solo performance and when she hit the stage with T.I.

P!nk - This chick was fabulous! Loved the red and black striped dress and her hair fit so perfectly. Was it us or was she sunburnt? Either way her performance was hot and we just love that song!

Kanye West - Wowzers! We love anything Kanye West around these parts and last night, he didn’t fail to please. The new single is banging and we absolutely loved his performance wardrobe, even if it was rather PeeWee Hermanish.

Lil’ Wayne - Who the hell is dressing this boy nowadays? We swear he’s getting more and more metro as the days go by! But we loved the plaid vest, red skinnies and Candy Red Supras during his performance with Kid Rock. Who would have ever guessed we’d see the day when Lil’ Wayne rocked skinnies! We loves it!

Lauren Conrad - OMG what the hell was she thinking the dress was pure papier mache!

Christina Aguilera - How can we mention one pop princess without the mention of the other? We loved Christina’s performance sooo much. However, we loved that she got rid of the Marilyn Monroe-pinup look and opted for something more edgy and way more fun! Plus that song is banging.
