Beyonce´and Solange Knowles were on hand in Japan at the “Samantha Thavasa & Disney Handbag Collection” at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel on Monday. While the bags were fab, whats really glowing is Solange! Wowzers, she looks amazing! Beyonce´and Solange were all smiles at the event. Arguable the best thing on stage were Solange’s Half Velvet Ankle Boot Metallic Sandals by Moschino! Pure deliciousness.

Seems the world is going Gaga and the Queen Bey has solidified her spot as the undisputed ‘Hottest Chick in the Game’. Both Beyonce´and Lady Gaga led the pack with the most VMA Nominations, 9 for 2009. Don’t you love the way that rings? Although Lady Gaga is new to the VMA’s and these are her first nods, Beyonce´is no stranger to the VMA’s. She has 6 moonmen as a solo artist.

Following not too far behind is Britney Spears with 7 nominations.

One of my favorite bands, Coldplay just released their new video for their single ‘Strawberry Swing’ and its pure visual amazement. I absolutely love this song, but this may be the fifth and final single from the album ‘Viva La Vida’. The video was directed by visual artists Shynola. As if their looks couldn’t parallel anymore, Rihanna and Ciara both decided to don monotone looks. I hate it. Rihanna was spotted out and about in New York a few days ago and Ciara hit the red carpet of an Express event she hosted.

My question is, what’s with the monotone looks? Why must everything be the same color? I think both looks would be a bit more interesting if they had at least thrown in a different color into the mix. Ugh, hate it. Might I add that Ciara is trailing behind Rihanna again, albeit this time she is only a few days late. Meh.
