Former President Bill Clinton has clinched the spot as speaker for the Democratic Convention on August 27, the same day the vice presidential nominee’s speech will take place in Denver, Colorado. The convention will run from August 25-28.
When asked about whether he felt Barack Obama would qualify for our next President of the United States he simply replied:
“You could argue that nobody is ever ready to be president. I mean, I certainly learned a lot about the job in the first year.”
And then he continued by saying:
“The Constitution sets qualifications for the president. And then the people decide who they think would be the better president. I think we have two choices. I think he should win, and I think he will win.”
Obama of course responded saying that Clinton has been very “supportive” of him.
“I thought he showed extraordinary restraint in a fairly provocative interview,” Obama said. “I couldn’t ask for him to be any more gracious than he’s been and supportive since the campaign ended.”
Hillary Clinton is also expected to join the Democratic festivities with a speech of her own on the second day of the convention which is also the 88th anniversary of the day women were granted the right to vote. Several marches will be taking place in honor of the anniversary.
I have a quick question, what has Hillary done recently to help sway her voters to vote for Obama in November? Time is ticking and I am pretty sure there are still some “bitter” Hillary supporters under the bridge to deal with. Okay that was mean. What do you thinkabout Team Obama/Clinton? Do you think they’ll be able to unite the Democratic Party to take back the White House?

Is Beyonce ever going to wear her wedding ring? Will Jay ever acknowledge the fact that he’s married? Questions like these have popped up all over the internet ever since the couple wed on April 4, 2008. The couple has been mum about their nuptials and have yet to confirm that they have in fact tied the knot. I guess Beyonce fans were waiting for her to spill the beans about her special day right? Well it doesn’t look like that will happen any time soon. However, Rapper Jay-Z did speak with Vibe in their September issue about why he’s been so private about his relationship with singer Beyonce.
“I just think it’s really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself,” he tells Vibe in their September issue.
“You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you,” the 38-year-old adds. “I shared so much of my life I should have something to hold on to.”
I honestly can’t be mad at him for that. How much do you want to bet that Jay & Bee will be together for a very long time? I think I am going to add them on my list of favorite Hollywood couples along with Will & Jada. Privacy is key people, especially when you’re constantly in the public eye. I applaud them for keeping their personal lives just that, personal.

Everyone’s favorite bad girl P!nk is back with the first single from her brand new album and we love it! In our eyes, P!nk can do no wrong! Her latest effort, ‘I’m Not Dead’ still remains in our iPod rotation. This new single however, is catchy, fun, free and very 80’s inspired. In it she makes references and pokes fun at her now ex-husband Carey Hart.

So we saw the L’Oreal ad days ago and thought “well heres an overly photoshopped ad” and left it at that. Sure it looks as if they plastered her face unto the face of a white model and lightened her skin, but why blame Beyonce? When you sign a contract to be a face of a brand you’re basically allowing them to use whatever shot they want to.
What doesn’t make sense to us is how the media is pointing the finger at her claiming she wants to be white. If the girl wanted to be white she wouldn’t make a feeble attempt at doing it in a L’Oreal ad. She’d pull some MJ shit. Recent word from her publicist stated that she nor Beyonce’ saw the ad before it was released.
Take a look at her past L’Oreal Ads and you tell me they aren’t overly touched up. So with that said, no we don’t think shes trying to be white, neither do we think this whole fiascos a big deal. Next.

According to the most recent CNN ‘Poll of Polls’ the two candidates are separated by just five points. Obama with 48% and McCain with 43%. However, 9% of those polled were undecided. What do you think is causing McCains recent catching up? Maybe their flip-flopping ways?
