Beyonce has done it again people. Does this girl ever stop? Her new pop single from the forthcoming November 18 release, ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’, ‘If I Were a Boy’ is the number one song on iTunes. She beat out pop tartlet Britney Spears who’s single ‘Womanizer’ held the top position.

Not only is the single #1, but the video for the song as well. Kudos to Beyonce.

Well isn’t this a shocker [/sarcasm] Leanne took home the big prize last night on Project Runway’s finale. As if that was a surprise to anyone. Her collection was daring, innovative, young, modern and fresh. However we also think that it was monochromatic and repetitive at times.

Korto’s collection shined also. The bright hues of green, earth tones and interesting silhouettes were playful and had Korto written all over them. Her collection was definitely more relatable and we can see her collection being the most marketable. There’s no doubt she will in fact have a career. We remember a few of the past contestants who ended in the number two spot saying how many more people contacted them because they thought they would be less busy than the winner. So good job to Korto.

Not too many words on Kenley. While we enjoyed a few of the pieces she showed, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING makes up for her annoying voice and bad attitude.

No your eyes are not deceiving you. A man was shot for wearing a Barack Obama T-shirt in support of the presidential candidate. What’s really going on? Better yet why is this even happening? Luxe Republic has the scoop. According to AOL Black Voices, police are searching for the man who shot a Obama supporter three times in broad daylight for wearing an Obama T-shirt.

Now when I first heard about this story on the radio, I had assumed that the shooting happened some where in the US. Wouldn’t you think so? To my surprise the incident occured not in the United States but in London. It just doesn’t get any better than this right? Apparently tempers are flaring and some people (ignorant people shall I add) can’t let others support their candidate of choice. Whatever happened to freedom of speech? 

Dube Egwuatu was buying a cell phone card when a British white skinhead with a gun confronted him for wearing an Obama “Believe” t-shirt.  The man begin to yell racial slurs, shouting “I f****** hate n*****s!” and urging Dube to leave the shop. To avoid confrontation Mr. Egwuatu walked away to his car and even zipped up his coat to cover the t-shirt while the man threatened him with a BB gun. The suspect who has not been captured, shot a gas-powered bb pistol three times hitting the victim in the face, hand and shoulder.  Mr. Egwuatu did survive the shooting however not without injuries.  A piece of metal from the bullet had to be removed from his jaw. 

Mr. Egwuatu told the Daily Mail (which is a newspaper in London), “The venom in his voice was frightening. He was telling me that he was going to kill me.”

Are you serious? This man did not deserve to be treated like this. It just goes to show you that even though we are living in the year 2008, most people still live like they are back in the “Jim Crow” era. When will we ever get past our hate and ignorance and learn to live together as one?  I know that sounds cheesy but times are changing. Seeing Obama inch closer & closer to maybe being our next president proves how far we have come as a country. It burns me up to know that there are still some people who just can’t get past something as silly as someone’s race! When will we realize that when one falls, we all fall. There’s no separation involved. We are all in this together. Take the financial crisis for example, EVERYONE is feeling the hit. The economy knows no color. I am hoping this is just not the beginning of pure foolishness. Let this be the beginning of the end.

What a day. Today not only did we learn about Clay Aiken being gay, but we also learned about Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson. Clay tells the world on his new People magazine cover and Lindsay confessed in a recent interview. But wait, which one was even a mystery? Neither. Obviously we all knew about Clay Gay Aiken and Lindsay and her lesbian lover. Whatevs.

So it looks like our favorite Hills star is getting her own spinoff. The most talented and beautiful of the bunch Whitney Port has just confirmed that MTV has picked up her own spinoff show which follows Whitney’s new life in New York City as she works for one of our favorite designers, Diane Von Furstenberg! Oh my, we can’t wait!
