One of my favorite bands, Coldplay just released their new video for their single ‘Strawberry Swing’ and its pure visual amazement. I absolutely love this song, but this may be the fifth and final single from the album ‘Viva La Vida’. The video was directed by visual artists Shynola. So after the infamous controversy with Chris Brown and Rihanna on Grammy night in February, Chris has taken the time to publically apologize. This is a huge step, and I applaud him for it. Let’s quit living in the past. The dude screwed up, he knows that, now let’s move on.

OK I tried to give this chick the benefit of the doubt. I understand she wants a change, but this new haircut is just all wrong. She looks like a Wanda Sykes/Peter Pan hybrid. Ciara’s features are way too manly for such short hair. I can understand she is trying to be edgy, but geez. And what’s up with the green contacts? Rihanna much?

Beyonce is set to release her new DVD and Remix album June 16 and its entitled Above and Beyoncé Video Collection and Dance Mixes.

Among the tracks included on the collection is a remix of her song “Ego” featuring a guest appearance by Kanye West. “The song is fun,” says Beyoncé. “It talks about someone being very confident and having this swagger when they walk and when they talk.”

As for nabbing West, well, Beyoncé says the rapper – known for his outsized personality – was a good match. Recounting her conversation with West, Beyoncé says he agreed to do it, telling her, ” ‘Okay, so you have a song about an ego and you want me on the record?’ He’s like, ‘I love it. I’ll do it.’ “

Above and Beyoncé will be available at Wal-Mart and J&R Music World stores beginning June 16.
