Avant Garde!!! So last night on Project Runway the designers had to design an avant garde piece based on their models hairdo. When I found out what they had to do I wanted to scream for excitement! This was Christians forte so I knew he was going to deliver. Not only that but Christian was paired with Chris! Then Tim dropped another bomb on them near the end, they had to design a ready to wear piece inspired by the couture piece they had been working on and only had a $50 budget! The two Chris’ designed an amazing layered gown with a huge dramatic collar made of 45 yards of fabric.

But the underdogs of the challenge were Victorya and Jillian who designed this incredible trench coat dress with an amazing silhouette. Even guest judge, italian fashion designer Alberta Ferretti commented on how beautiful it was. I was shocked, they had been struggling the entire episode, but in the end the two duos were head to head with the best designs.

Oh and poor Kit went home, I wasn’t really expecting her to get sent home.

Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad: Laguna Hills??

The history between Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad is a shaky one. We just got word that MTV is trying to get Kristin Cavallari to be apart of the next season of Lauren’s show, The Hills. Wouldn’t that be interesting? Kristin has been laying VERY low since her days on Laguna Beach…the dramz…MTV is really milking these actresses girls.

By the way, Luxerepublic.com is the FIRST media source on earth to report this. Thanks.

MTV’s The Hills: Lights, Camera, Real Life??

I know everyone has read everywhere about The Hills being fake. Well we here at Luxe think that the shows producers need to make sure their actresses stars are reporting the same consistent stories.

Earlier this month, “Hills” heavyweight Lauren Conrad told Us Weekly, “The show is not fake and this is really my life.” But LC’s co-star and longtime frenemy Heidi Montag tells a different story in the December issue of Blender. Heidi said, “I’m just glad I don’t have to deal with all the drama,” Heidi explained. “I mean it’s fun to watch, but I’m glad it’s not my life. I’m actually a drama-free person.” And it wouldn’t be Heidi if she didn’t mention that thing she has as a companion. “I think [Spencer's] often just joking,” she told Blender. “But then you put some music to it and a couple of looks and suddenly he’s an ass. … Spencer is very ambitious, very smart and very crafty. He is just on ‘The Hills’ for fun.”

They should probably tell the writers to watch for little loop holes like that. Yeah.
